    McMaster Univeristy | Hamilton, ON | Thursday, August 31, 2017 - 10:00am

The process of aging can be accompanied by losses and challenges. An ability to be resilient in the face of adversities that come with the aging process could be important to a better quality of life. The purpose of this research is to explore the resiliency of low-income older adults in Hamilton. This study intends to explore how low-income older adults overcome challenging situations and what they perceive to be the personal, social and environmental factors that influence their ability to be resilient.
