Knowledge, Users and Impact in Aging & Technology Research: An Overview of NCE’s KMb Policy Framework

Published: Tuesday, November 21, 2017

The AGE-WELL KMB research project presented their findings at the 2017 Canadian Association on Gerontology conference in Winnipeg.

The NCE (Network of Centres of Excellence) is a leading standard-setting institution in the field of knowledge production. How it conceptualizes, implements, and governs KMb is therefore important in designing an effective KMb infrastructure for large research networks, that is based on social engagement and geared toward social and economic benefits. This poster reviews the NCE’s understanding of “knowledge mobilization (KMb)” from a regulatory and conceptual perspective, and summarizes preliminary findings and implications.
